This simple survey was intended to study attitudes towards corruption as it affects construction projects in developing countries. It was carried out in two stages, initially on a pilot basis among participants on a training course in the UK, and subsequently online through a page on the www.ethicaledinburgh.org web site. Individual responses cannot be attributed to individuals, though IP address data indicates the countries from which the online responses were received. This presentation summarises the main findings based on an initial analysis.

Ideally, the ICtIC would begin as part of an existing institution, incurring relatively minor incremental costs for staff time and facilities. As and when demand for services increased, the ICtIC would then itself evolve in order to respond to that demand.
